Michael Murphy was confirmed dead at the scene of the 1 a.m. crash near the Commerce Way ramp, Massachusetts State Police said.
A 51-year-old Vermont man was behind the wheel of the box truck that hit Murphy. Officers said the impact of the crash pushed Murphy's pick-up into another lane. Two lanes were closed for three hours as police cleared and cleaned the scene.
The second driver was not injured.
State police are investigating the crash. No charges have been filed.
